The music
Most of the music in the Gabriel Knight series has been done by Robert Holmes; David Henry started cooperating with Robert Holmes in The Beast Within, and wrote large parts of the Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned music score.

Gabriel Knight 1 canon soundtrack (unofficial)
The GK1 soundtrack CD has been worked out by Alistair Gillett in autumn of 2004, and has become the canon soundtrack for GK1. It is basically the game's original Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 (General MIDI), with the addition of two digital tracks (in bold).
Titles have been given by Alistair Gillet in accordance to the MIDI file names and to the game situation the tracks play in.
On SCC, site owned by Alistair Gillet, a complete soundtrack
in Ogg Vorbis format is hosted: it consists of the Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 (General MIDI) mixed with Roland MT-32 and Roland Sound Canvas SC-8850 ED enhancement tracks; the two digital tracks are also included.
